The McCoy College of Business at Texas State University will host its annual Business Leadership Week (BLW) February 2-6, a weeklong series of professional development programs designed to connect students with business leaders, alumni, faculty and employers.
Business Leadership Week will explore leadership, innovation, entrepreneurship and ethics through workshops, panel discussions, engaging sessions and networking opportunities. Sessions this year will include Executive Presence, Leadership in Management, Emotional Intelligence, Strategic Decision-Making, Personal Branding and Practical Entrepreneurship.
The McCoy Leadership Summit, the week’s conference-style centerpiece, will convene alumni, faculty and industry partners for in-depth conversations about professional growth in the business and finance sectors and values-driven leadership practices. Attendees can expect sessions on starting a business, scaling ventures, ethical leadership in complex organizations and building inclusive teams.
New this year is the McCoy College Hall of Honor. The inaugural Hall of Honor will celebrate alumni whose professional achievements, leadership and service exemplify the college’s values and have made a measurable impact in their fields and communities. The ceremony will highlight career pathways and lessons learned from honorees, offering students concrete examples of long-term professional success.
