Texas State University’s annual giving day, Step Up for State, returns March 25-26, rallying the TXST community to make a difference in just 1,899 minutes in honor of the university’s founding year. The annual fundraiser, now in its 10th year, challenges the community to step up for the students, academic programs, and places that make up TXST.
During this time, staff, faculty, alumni and friends of the university can give online to support scholarships, the San Marcos River, student mental wellness, sports clubs, athletics, research, Bobcat RISE, and other programs.
“Step Up for State highlights the incredible generosity and spirit of the Bobcat community,” said Brooks Hull, vice president for University Advancement. “In just 1,899 minutes, alumni, students, faculty, staff, and friends come together to invest in the success of our students and the future of Texas State. Every gift helps create opportunities, whether through scholarships, academic programs, or student support, that empower Bobcats to learn, grow, and make an impact long after they leave campus.”
The community’s support strengthens TXST’s legacy and helps students achieve their higher education goals and aspirations.
