Texas State University finished in first place in the 2025 District 10 American Advertising Federation’s (AAF) National Student Advertising Competition (NSAC) held April 9-11 in Arlington.
District 10 includes universities in Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas and Louisiana. This is the fourth time Texas State has won first since 2020.

“These students continued to do the little things right and challenged themselves to produce really great work. I’m proud of our student leaders who demonstrated real commitment and leadership through this whole process,” said Michael Devlin, Ph.D., professor in the School of Journalism and Mass Communication and NSAC team advisor.
“Our continued success is a result of our program’s dedication to developing a deep understanding of strategic and creative thinking among our students, which ensures they will be career-ready when they graduate.”
