Our COVID Experience: Day of Reflection comes to Texas State

With the approach of the third anniversary of the start of the COVID-19 pandemic, Texas State University will host Our COVID Experience: Day of Reflection on March 7 in the Alkek Teaching Theater.
The event is free and open to the public and will feature three programs to enable the community to reflect on the pandemic and consider the recovery process.
Reflections: A Student, Staff, Faculty and Administration Discussion will run 9:30-11 a.m. and feature a panel reflecting on their own experiences with COVID-19, how the pandemic impacted the university and the lessons learned.
A Faculty Research Showcase will run noon-2:30 p.m. with faculty from across the university presenting research they have conducted on COVID-19 and the pandemic.
Recovery and Looking Forward will run 3-4 p.m. and focus on the questions “What does recovery look like?” and “How can we move forward?” The discussion on recovery will be led by Pastor Sharolyn Browning with remarks by Texas State University President Kelly Damphousse.
