League One Volleyball (LOVB) to Host ‘Weekend with LOVB’ at Texas State University

The ‘Weekend with LOVB’ will be held at Strahan Arena, with TXST Volleyball Head Coach Sean Huiet performing the ceremonial first serve during LOVB Austin’s opening match.

League One Volleyball (LOVB) Pro, a first-of-its-kind women’s professional indoor volleyball league, will host its Austin team’s final home games of its inaugural season at Texas State University (TXST) March 28-29.  

The ‘Weekend with LOVB’ games will be held at Strahan Arena, with TXST Volleyball Head Coach Sean Huiet performing the ceremonial first serve during LOVB Austin’s opening match against LOVB Omaha on March 28 at 7 p.m. CDT. Members of TXST’s Volleyball team are expected to be in attendance during the game.

LOVB Austin will also compete against LOVB Madison (based in Madison, WI) on March 29 at 9 p.m. CDT, their third match of the season. The two clubs have split the season series 1-1 so far.

The March 28 game will be streamed on ESPN+ and the March 29 matchup will be streamed on ESPN+ and broadcast on ESPN 2. Tickets are available to TXST students for $5 upon entry.

League One Volleyball was founded in January 2020 as a network of youth volleyball clubs across the United States. In January 2025, LOVB created LOVB Pro, a six-team professional women’s volleyball league. The professional league is made up of 17 Olympians, including several who were part of Team USA’s silver medal-winning team at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games.
