Intelligent.com recognizes Texas State as US leader in 11 categories for 2024

Texas State University has been awarded top ranking status in 11 categories for 2024 by Intelligent.com, a website that offers curated guides to help students make informed decisions about higher education programs. 

The 11 categories recognized are:

• Best Online Bachelor’s in Music Degree Programs | Ranked 11 
• Best Colleges in Texas | Ranked 13
• Best Online Master’s in Graphic Design Degree Programs of 2024 | Ranked 15 
• Best Online Bachelor’s in Health Informatics Degree Programs | Ranked 17 
• Best Online Master’s in Social Work Degree Programs of 2024 | Ranked 19 
• Best One-Year MSW Degree Programs Online (No BSW) of 2024 | Ranked 19 
• Best Online Bachelor’s in Economics Degree Programs | Ranked 29 
• Best Online Master’s in Health Informatics Degree Programs of 2024 | Ranked 36 
• Best Online Master’s in Secondary Education Degree Programs of 2024 | Ranked 38 
• Best Online Bachelor’s in Sociology Degree Programs | Ranked 39 
• Best Online Master's in Nursing (MSN) Degree Programs of 2024 | Ranked 42 

Texas State was listed among hundreds of other competing institutions across the nation. The student-focused comprehensive research guide is based on an assessment of more than 3,000 colleges and universities nationwide. 

The 2024 rankings are calculated through a unique scoring system that includes academic quality, graduation rate, cost, potential return on investment and student resources. Intelligent.com analyzed hundreds of schools with comparable programs on a scale of zero to 100. The methodology uses an algorithm that collects and analyzes multiple rankings into one score to easily compare each university’s degree program.
