University Police Dept holds Safety Walk across San Marcos Campus

Members of the Texas State University community turned out Sept. 28 for an evening TXST Safety Walk on the San Marcos Campus. Sponsored by the University Police Department, Facilities and Student Government, the Safety Walk was designed to identify lighting and security issues on campus. Participants gathered at the Boko statue on the Quad for pizza and drinks before breaking into groups to identify areas of concern.
University police thanked volunteers from the community for participating. "We cannot express our gratitude of the fantastic group of people who came together for our Safety Walk!
