Texas State University has been ranked No. 10 on Study.com's list of "Best Bachelor's Degrees in Public Relations" for 2021.

The University of Oregon topped the list, followed by the University of Colorado Boulder at No. 2 and the Rowan University at No. 3. No other university from Texas made the top 10.

Study.com cited the Texas State program's concentration in sports media as an advantage for those wishing to pursue a future in athletics promotion or coverage. Since 2006 students have also had the opportunity to work with clients to develop skills such as social media management, print advertisements, press releases and promotional videos, enabling them to build portfolios through real-world experience.

Study.com's school ranking lists are created using a proprietary ranking system that includes data from the U.S. Department of Education and school details. Some factors considered include tuition rates and availability of financial aid, admittance rates, educational support and resources, retention rates and graduation rates, student-faculty ratio and career resources and job placement.

Since 2004, Study.com has provided users with free college and career resources. More than 40 million visitors every month use Study.com articles to research schools, degrees and careers. For more information, visit https://study.com/degrees/bachelors-degrees-in-public-relations.html.
