U.S. News lists 11 Texas State graduate programs among best in nation for 2022

Eleven Texas State University programs have been named among the Best Graduate School Rankings for 2022 by U.S. News and World Report.

Texas State's top graduate program placements nationally came in the categories Criminology (tied for No. 26), Health Care Management (tied for No. 55) and Physical Therapy (tied for No. 71).

Other categories Texas State graduate programs earned national rankings in were Best Business Schools (tied for No. 101), Part-time MBA (No. 127), Social Work (tied for No. 137), Speech-Language Pathology (tied for No. 146), Best Education Schools (tied for No. 148), Best Public Affairs Programs (tied for No. 164), Biological Sciences (tied for No. 190) and Best Nursing Schools: Master's (No. 168-220).  

The Best Graduate Schools rankings are based on two types of data: expert opinions about program excellence and statistical indicators that measure the quality of a school's faculty, research and students. The data for the rankings comes from statistical surveys of more than 2,081 programs and from reputation surveys sent to more than 24,603 academics and professionals, conducted in fall 2019 and early 2020.
