University Police Department recognizes outstanding contributions to public safety at TXST

The University Police Department held a Recognition Gala this week to honor members of the department and the Texas State community for their contributions to campus safety.
“The purpose of this program is to recognize exemplary behavior on the part of a member of the UPD or outstanding civic duty on the part of a community member,” Police Chief Matthew Carmichael said. “Community safety relies on trust, something UPD has worked diligently to foster over this last year. Our delivery of service is based on love, care, and compassion.”
