Intelligent.com recognizes Texas State as U.S. leader in 5 categories for 2023

Texas State University has been awarded top ranking status in five categories by Intelligent.com, a website that offers curated guides to help students make informed decisions about higher education programs.
The five categories recognized are:
- Marketing, ranked No. 9 nationally
- Best online colleges with lowest out-of-state tuition, ranked No. 9 nationally
- Master's in Social Work (online), ranked No. 21 nationally
- Master's in Public Administration, ranked No. 43
- Criminal Justice, ranked No. 49 nationally
Texas State was listed among hundreds of other competing institutions across the nation. The student-focused comprehensive research guide is based on an assessment of more than 3,000 colleges and universities nationwide.
The 2023 rankings are calculated through a unique scoring system that includes academic quality, graduation rate, cost, potential return on investment, and student resources. Intelligent.com analyzed hundreds of schools with comparable programs on a scale of 0 to 100. The methodology uses an algorithm that collects and analyzes multiple rankings into one score to easily compare each university’s degree program.
