Texas State University has officially recognized the Texas State Esports team as a sports club. A starting team of five to six students plays competitive multi-player games online, against some of the top universities in the country for cash prizes and more. With over 500 collective members on Discord, a starting team of five to six students play some of the largest gaming titles to date.
