Gregg Marshall, a professor, respiratory therapist and chair of the Department of Respiratory Care at Texas State University, has been granted Fellow status by the AARC (American Association for Respiratory Care).

Marshall’s advocacy for quality patient care, coupled with his numerous voluntary contributions and professional comportment, have made an immeasurable impact on the field of respiratory care.

The AARC is the international organization representing and advocating for respiratory therapists. The FAARC award was established in 1998 to recognize those individuals who have made a profound and lasting contribution to the profession of respiratory care and to the AARC.

He was nominated and selected by his peers for this prestigious recognition and honor. Due to the pandemic, the 2020 Fellows will be formally inducted virtually during the AARC’s 66th International Congress to be held online Nov. 18-Dec. 5. A virtual awards ceremony will be held Dec. 3.
