Department of Theatre and Dance presents Ibsen's 'A Doll's House'

Texas State University’s Department of Theatre and Dance will stage a production of Henrik Ibsen’s classic drama, “A Doll’s House,” October 12-15.

Showtimes will be 7:30 p.m. October 12-14, with a 2 p.m. matinee October 15. All performances will be held in the PSH Foundation Studio Theatre.

"A Doll's House" tells the story of a marriage between a domineering husband and a submissive wife. It is considered a premier example of modern stage plays and its honest portrayal of a woman’s choices within a marriage was controversial at the time of its first production. Texas State will use a translation by Nicolas Rudall. The play will be directed by MFA student Bruce Turk.
