Commercialization consultant Dave Perry to give talk at Texas State

Business consultant Dave Perry will discuss “Leadership Principles of an Entrepreneur” at Texas State University’s Agriculture Hall on Thursday, February 16.
The speech will be at 6:30 p.m. in room 204 of Agriculture Hall. A meet-and-greet with Perry will begin at 5:30 p.m.
Perry is a global commercialization consultant for the IC2 Institute at the University of Texas at Austin. He received his M.B.A. at Hardin-Simmons University and completed an advanced management program at Harvard Business School. Perry has held numerous executive positions, including vice-president of sales at Texas Instruments, senior vice-president at Global OEM Markets and CEO for Tenduit Software. The talk will address how to start a business, working in an international setting and learning to take maximum advantage of one’s skills, among other things.
The event is sponsored by the Department of Occupational, Workforce and Leadership studies.
