'Five Women Wearing the Same Dress' takes stage at Texas State

The Department of Theatre and Dance at Texas State University will present the comedy Five Women Wearing the Same Dress April 25-30.
Performances will be at 7:30 p.m., with a 2 p.m. matinee performance on April 30. All performances will be held at the Performing Arts Center.
The play tells the story of five reluctant bridesmaids during a wedding reception in Knoxville, Tennessee. As the women gather in an upstairs bedroom to avoid the festivities, they discover a common bond. The irreverent play was written by Alan Bond and is directed by Michael Rau.
Tickets for the Tuesday through Thursday performances cost $15 for adults and $8 for students including a processing fee. Tickets for the Friday through Sunday performances cost $18 for adults and $8 for students. Tickets are available for purchase at txstatepresents.com or by phone at (512) 245-6500.
