McCoy College announces speakers for 2016 Business Leadership Week

The McCoy College of Business Administration at Texas State University has announced the speaker lineup for this year’s Business Leadership Week, February 15-18.
The event will feature a variety of forums and interactive events centered around the theme: Business Beyond Borders. The theme is in tandem with the university’s Common Experience: Bridged Through Stories: Shared Heritage of the United States and Mexico, a homage to Tómas Rivera.
Bernardo Altamirano Rodriguez, CEO of the Better Business Bureau (BBB), will give the keynote address at 6:30 p.m., February 15 in the Alkek Teaching Theater. Rodriguez will discuss how opening a BBB in Mexico would help build a North American vision of trust in the marketplace.
Larry Jackson, vice president of Supply Chain Operations for Fluor Corporation, will deliver this year’s Distinguished Lecture at 3:30 p.m., February 16 in McCoy Hall room 119. Jackson has more than 30 years’ experience as an executive in the areas of supply chain management, project management, business unit operations, sales and marketing.
The Executive Leadership Panel will feature: Mark Curry, community bank president for Wells Fargo; Daniel Guerrero, mayor of San Marcos; Yamile Jackson, CEO of Nurtured by Design; Steven Soos, CEO of ProtoIPO Inc. The panel will take place at 11 a.m., February 16 in McCoy Hall room 119.
