In Brief: Reception to acknowledge Society of Plastics Engineers scholarship endowment

The Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry at Texas State University will host a reception to recognize a new $25,000 student scholarship endowment from the Society of Plastics Engineers (SPE) November 11.

The event will begin at 11 a.m. in room 233 of the Chemistry Building.

The Society of Plastics Engineers is the recognized medium of communication among scientists and engineers engaged in the development, conversion and applications of plastics.  The objective of the society is "...to provide and promote the scientific and engineering knowledge relating to plastics."
