The contest aimed to chronicle the unique wildlife of Spring Lake utilizing Project Noah, an award-winning platform designed to help people reconnect with the natural world. With a total of 35 participants, the contest helped The Meadows Center compile ecological data for more than 180 documented sightings.

"All the participants are winners," Senior Programs Advisor Shane Townsend said. "They will help The Meadows Center maintain important data about the species that live here."

Thanks to contributions from the Texas State Environmental Services Committee, prizes for first, second and third place included a GoPro Hero 3, ENO Hammock and two tickets to Wimberley Zipline Adventures.

The entire Spring Lake collection of more than 180 species collected by 35 photographers may be viewed at www.projectnoah.org/missions/817496003.
