In Brief: Criminal justice ** honored with Criminology award

Angela Jones, a Texas State University criminal justice (SHE HAS NEVER BEEN A STUDENT! GRR...), has won the student paper award from the American Society of Criminology Division of Experimental Criminology.
The award was announced in the July/August issue of the Criminologist, the newsletter of the American Society of Criminology.
Jones' paper was titled "Sensitizing jurors to factors influencing the accuracy of eyewitness identification: Assessing the effectiveness of the Henderson instructions."
Jones is currently completing her postdoctoral research at Columbia University and will join the Texas State School of Criminal Justice faculty as an assistant professor in fall 2016.
