In Brief: KTSW hosts back-to-school broadcast for incoming students

KTSW-FM 89.9 will broadcast live from the Strahan Coliseum parking lot 8 a.m.-5 p.m. August 15-16 during Texas State University move-in.
The broadcast will provide information on Texas State and San Marcos to incoming freshmen and transfer students.
Throughout each day, listeners will hear information from various Texas State departments, including the PACE Center, housing, advising, financial aid and more. Disc jockeys will also provide tips on college life and move-in details for students.
After 5 p.m., the broadcast continues on-air with unique specialty shows until midnight each day, including ticket giveaways and in-studio guests from KTSW’s drive-time show, Other Side Drive, hip-hop beats from the Cypher and international music from Wanderlust.
Listeners can catch the back-to-school broadcast by tuning in to FM 89.9 or streaming live on ktsw.net or the Texas State app.
