Texas State Sociology hosts aging, dementia workshop in New Braunfels

The Texas State University Department of Sociology will host a comprehensive one-day workshop titled "Aging, Dementia and the Family" at the McKenna Event Center in New Braunfels on April 17.
The seminar, which is the last of a three-part series that began in 2014, will host seven speakers discussing the role of sleep in memory processes, family care giving of frail elders, marriage and dementia and various topics relevant to those afflicted with dementia. The workshops are open to the public. Registration is $50 for students and those 65 or older, and $100 for adults.
