Texas State University has launched the Hillviews (HV) app, a digital version of the university’s magazine.
The free app is available in iOS and Android platforms for mobile devices including phones, tablets and e-readers. Additionally, PC and Mac users can access Hillviews in a digital flip format at www.ua.txstate.edu/campus-connections/hillviews.html.
The app, produced by Austin-based GradMags, is a digital alternative to the print version of Hillviews, which is published three times a year. The digital version includes extra features such as live links, videos and easy-to-read text versions of articles.
Hillviews includes content about people, places, events and activities that are relevant to the Texas State community. The iOS version of the Hillviews app includes "tiles" which provide connections to additional content through Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and YouTube.
The Hillviews app can be downloaded through the Apple iTunes store, via Google Play or through Amazon (for Kindle users), by typing the word "Hillviews" in the search area.
