Texas State University is closely monitoring the possibility of adverse weather conditions the morning of Friday, Feb. 7.
A decision regarding Friday, Feb. 7, activities on both the San Marcos and the Round Rock campuses will be made by 2 a.m. Friday morning. If there are any changes to Texas State's normal operating schedule, an announcement regarding this decision will be posted shortly thereafter on the university webpage (www.txstate.edu), communicated via emergency text alerts and released to area media.
Note, anyone who has not yet registered their cell phone number for emergency text alerts is encouraged to do so now by accessing the following link: www.emergencyinfo.txstate.edu/.
On both days, decisions regarding scheduled athletic events will be made later and posted on the Bobcat Athletics website (www.txstatebobcats.com).
As always, Texas State faculty members, staff members and students should exercise their own best judgment regarding the safety of their own travel based on their local conditions.
