Opera Theatre presents performances of Mozart's 'Don Giovanni'

Maestro Nicholas Carthy will conduct the Texas State University Symphony Orchestra as they perform Mozart’s timeless score, "Don Giovanni," 7:30 p.m. April 5-7 in Evans Auditorium.
Directed by Samuel Mungo, the Texas State Opera Theatre will take a film noir look at the classic tale’s legendary seducer, Don Juan, his suffering sidekick and the long line of people who fall under his spell. From its first chord to its final bars, the classic tale of the legendary seducer Don Juan comes to operatic life with Mozart's timeless score in "Don Giovanni."
Tickets for the performance are $12 for general admission, $6 for students, senior citizens and military with ID. Advance student tickets are available at the Music Office.
