Texas State University will hold its annual Family Campaign – a fund-raising effort targeted at university faculty, staff and retirees – beginning March 4 through April 26.
The Family Campaign provides an opportunity for faculty and staff to support the university and contribute toward preparing Texas State students for a meaningful future.
“Gifts to the Family Campaign have a direct impact on the quality of our university, and they inspire others to contribute as well. A successful Family Campaign inspires confidence in funding sources outside the university, such as foundations and corporations,” said Ted McKinnon, assistant vice president of University Advancement.
Last year, 1,187 faculty and staff members and retirees contributed to the Family Campaign, raising nearly $750,000 in gifts and pledges over the next five years.
Gifts to the campaign can support scholarships, graduate fellowships, emergency grants, student travel, tuition assistance, student organizations and many other areas of need.
Family campaign gifts may be any amount and may be made by cash, check, credit card or payroll deduction.
