Texas State hosts panel discussion to examine Affordable Care Act

A panel discussion titled, “The Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act: What Does it All Mean?” will be held 7 p.m. Nov. 18 at Texas State University.

The event will be held in room 119 of McCoy Hall on campus. It is free and open to the public.

Panelists include Mary Ann Roser, medical writer for the Austin American-Statesman; Mary Faria, Ph.D., vice president and CIO for Seton Southwest Hospital; Gregory Sheff, M.D., executive vice president of Clinical Systems at Seton Healthcare Family; Shannon Meroney, J.D., executive account manager for Aetna’s Public & Labor Segment; Michael Nowicki, Ed.D, College of Health Professions; and Li Feng, Ph.D., McCoy College of Business Administration.

The panel discussion is sponsored by the Department of Finance in the McCoy College of Business Administration and the College of Health Professions at Texas State.
