Hays-Caldwell Women’s Center to hold annual auction on campus

The Hays-Caldwell Women’s Center will hold its 28th annual live and silent auction May 19 at 6 p.m. in the LBJ Student Center Ballroom at Texas State University-San Marcos.
Admission is $25 and includes the auction, Black's Barbecue catering and a showcase of hundreds of items. All proceeds from the auction will benefit the Hays-Caldwell Women's Shelter.
This year’s auction will feature a ride in a biplane, deer hunt package, hot air balloon ride, jewelry, antiques, collectibles, original art and trips.
The mission of the Hays-Caldwell Women's Center is to create an environment where violence and abuse are not tolerated in the communities it serves. The center provides education, violence prevention services, and crisis intervention to victims of family violence, sexual assault and child abuse.
