Legendary rock musical ‘Hair’ takes stage at Texas State

The Department of Theatre and Dance at Texas State University-San Marcos presents Hair by James Rado, Gerome Ragni and music by Galt MacDermot April 20-22 and the 24-29.
Directed by Kaitlin Hopkins and choreographed by Tom Truss, performances will be held 7:30 p.m. April 20-22 and 24-28. A 2 p.m. performance will be held April 29. The musical events will take place on the main stage in the Theatre Center on campus, located at 430 Moon St.
Hair tells the story of a group of friends choosing to speak up and sing out in celebration of love, life and freedom. Hair was the first rock musical and has some of the most rousing and soulful songs ever written for the stage, including "Let the Sun Shine In," "Easy to be Hard," "Good Morning Starshine," "Aquarius" and the infectious title song, "Hair."
