Youth Behind Movement hosts screening of ‘The Wonder Year’

Texas State University-San Marcos’ Youth Behind Movement group is hosting a documentary screening, The Wonder Year, at 6 p.m. on Sept. 15 at the Alkek Teaching Theatre on campus.
This documentary follows 9th Wonder, Grammy Award-winning producer, ambassador for the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People and professor from his childhood home to his life in the studio.
The documentary will also feature popular artists Drake, DJ Premier, DJ Green Lantern, J. Cole and many others. The record producer has worked with a variety of hip-hop musicians and is currently co-teaching a class titled “Sampling Soul” with Mark Anthony Neal at Duke University.
The Youth Behind Movement is a student organization created for all students with an entrepreneur mindset who seek the assistance in launching their ideas. The event is sponsored by the Youth Behind Movement, Some Broke College Kids and Lower Rio Grande. The event is free and open to the public.
