Author Thomas Lux to give reading at Wittliff Collections

Thomas Lux, author of God Particles and Split Horizon, will give a reading and book signing at the Wittliff Collections at Texas State University-San Marcos Thursday, Sept. 15.

The reading will be held at 3:30 p.m. on the 7th floor of the Alkek Library on campus. He will also hold a reading 7:30 p.m. Friday, Sept. 16 at the Katherine Anne Porter Literary Center in Kyle. The admission is free.

Lux is also the author of Street of Clocks and The Cradle Place, among other poems and books. He is the recipient of grants and fellowships from the Guggenheim Foundation, the Mellon Foundation and the National Endowment for the Arts. Lux is currently a poetry professor and director of the McEver Visiting Writers program at the Georgia Institute of Technology.
