Lone Star Swing headlines Supple Folk Music Series

Texas State University-San Marcos will feature the energetic blend of western swing, jazz and traditional country music from the Lone Star Swing band as part of the Supple Series.

The performance will be held on Sept. 30 at 7:30 p.m. in the LBJ Student Center Ballroom.

Lone Star Swing is a popular Austin band specializing in western swing. The band will be joined by some of the original members of the legendary band, Bob Wills and His Texas Playboys.

The performance is part of the Jerry and Cathy Supple Folk Music Series and the University Encore Performing Arts Series. It is organized by the College of Fine Arts and Communication with corporate sponsorship from CenturyLink.

General seating tickets are $10 and student/alumni tickets are $5.
