Texas State hosts 4th Annual Employee Wellness Fair

Texas State University-San Marcos will host the 4th annual Employee Wellness Fair for faculty and staff Tuesday, Nov. 1, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the LBJ Student Center Ballroom.
No advanced registration is required, and employees are encouraged to attend for whatever amount of time they have available. Time spent at the fair is considered work time. Participants are eligible for door prizes and will receive a second door prize ticket by donating three non-perishable food items to the Hays County Food Bank.
Interactive and informative booths from on-campus as well as off-campus offices will target issues relevant to the total health of employees. Examples of some of the services to be provided include:
- Bone marrow and stem cell donor registry
- Skin cancer education
- Vision testing
- Hearing screening
- Blood pressure screening
- Blood glucose screening
- Stress Management
- Diabetes education
- Chair massages for $1/minute
- Flu shots for $10, if available
