Philosophy Dialogue Series holds June discussion events

The Philosophy Dialogue Series at Texas State University- San Marcos will continue to examine and discuss the relationship between emotions and ethics for the Summer I semester. All events are held in Psychology 132 at 12 p.m.

Presentations and discussions for the month of June will focus on the following issues:

Thursday, June 16
Does Memory Matter?

Tuesday, June 21
On Inspiration & Imagination

Wednesday, June 22
What is the Purpose of Higher Education?

Thursday, June 23
On the Obligations of Students as Such

Co-sponsors of the Philosophy Dialogue Series are American Democracy Project, College of Liberal Arts, Common Experience, Gina Weatherhead Dialogue Fund, New York Times, The National Endowment for the Humanities, University Seminar, Provost and Vice President for Academic Affairs, and Vice President for Student Affairs.
