Monthly farmers market on Quad brings fresh produce to campus

The Environmental Conservation Organization at Texas State University-San Marcos is sponsoring an Edible San Marcos farmers market on campus March 3, April 6 and May 4.
The farmers market will be open 11 a.m.-4 p.m. each day on the Quad.
The farmers market will feature fresh, sustainable, local produce. Prepared foods include tamales (with vegan and vegetarian choices), beignets, pralines and British food from Full English Foods. The market also offers grass-fed beef, raw cheese, fair-trade organic coffee, fresh produce, organic soaps, lotions, granola, nuts, salsas, fish, jewelry and more.
