Third annual Employee Wellness Fair scheduled

 For the third year, Texas State faculty and staff are encouraged to participate in the Employee Wellness Fair that will be held on Tuesday, October 26, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the LBJ Student Center Ballroom.

 No advanced registration is required, and employees may to attend for whatever amount of time they have available. Participants are eligible for door prizes and will receive a second door prize ticket by donating three non-perishable food items to the Hays County Food Bank.  Employees will be eligible for a grand prize drawing after visiting a minimum of 10 booths.

 Interactive and informative booths will target issues relevant to the total health of employees.  Examples of some of the services to be provided include:

·         Bone marrow registry

·         Skin cancer education

·         Vision testing

·         Hearing screening

·         Blood pressure screening

·         Blood glucose screening

·         Body fat percentage

·         Chair massages for $1/minute

·         Flu shots for $10, if available
