Dean speaks about higher education administration in Nicaragua

Jaime Chahin, dean of the College of Applied Arts at Texas State University-San Marcos, is lecturing on “Higher Education Administration” in Managua, Nicaragua, Aug. 15-19.
The United States Department of State awarded Chahin a U.S.-Speaker and Specialist Grant for the lecture. Chahin was invited to speak to the National Council of Universities and authorities of the National Universities of Managua and Leon. He is addressing issues of organizational and administrational structures in higher education.
Chahin has been previously invited by the U.S. State Department to Costa Rica, Honduras, Chile and Peru.
