The Ingram School of Engineering at Texas State University-San Marcos will host the regional This Future City competition for middle school students Saturday, Jan. 23.
The event, organized and sponsored by the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers, is one of the largest not-for-profit engineering education programs in the country. The competition is a fun and exciting educational engineering program for seventh- and eighth-grade students that combines a stimulating engineering challenge with a "hands-on," team-based approach to present their vision of a city of the future.
