Old Main Drive slated for closure Friday

Old Main Drive on the Texas State University-San Marcos campus will be closed from 8 a.m. to noon Friday, Sept. 18. 

The section of the street from the intersection of State Street and Old Main Drive to the intersection of Old Main Drive and Pleasant Street will be affected by the closure.

Old Main will only be accessible to ordinary vehicles from State Street. The Pleasant Street parking garage will only be accessible from North LBJ Street through the guard gate at Sessom Drive.

The road closure is necessitated by the use of a crane for work on windows of the Centennial Building. Job is for work being done from a crane working on the windows on the pictured wall of the Centennial building.
