University community remembers departed with Bobcat Pause

The Student Foundation will host the 21st annual Bobcat Pause Memorial Service 6 p.m. April 15 at Texas State University-San Marcos.

The event will be held in the LBJ Student Center teaching theater, room 4-16.1. Bobcat Pause will provide the Texas State community the opportunity to remember and honor Texas State faculty, staff, alumni and friends of the university who have passed away during the preceding year.

The service will include words of comfort, a roll call of the names of those being remembered, a moment of silence, remarks from President Denise Trauth, and a performance by the University Choir.  Preceding the service and during the reception, a slideshow will play, displaying photographs of some of those who have passed away in the preceding year.  Friends and family members are invited to bring flowers, photographs or other mementos to honor their loved ones.
