Stars of Texas Music Legacy Series boasts stellar lineup

The Stars of Texas Music Legacy Series will be featuring Joel Guzman and Sarah Fox as well as Micky and the Motorcars for a free concert 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 5 at the Glade outdoor theatre on the Texas State University-San Marcos campus.
Acclaimed accordion player and musician Joel Guzman along with the group's primary songwriter and vocalist Sarah Fox will bring a mix of blues, tejano, soul, pop, gospel, rock, rumba and more. Surrounded by a band of highly acclaimed musicians, the pair has earned quality reviews from critics worldwide. Their most recent album, Latinology, has also been widely praised.
The five-piece, alternative country group Micky and the Motorcars have made a name for themselves traveling the Texas music circuit and have performed as one of the region's highest drawing acts. The band has collaborated with some of the industry's top musicians including lead singer Micky Braun's brother Reckless Kelly lead singer Willy Braun. They have recently released their fourth titled album "Naive."
This event is free and open to the public. The Stars of Texas Music Legacy Series is being sponsored through Gary Hartman and the Center for Texas Music History and Richard Cheatham, Dean of the College of Fine Arts and Communication.
