Philosophy Dialogue Series features “Naturalism and Supernaturalism”

The fall 2007 Philosophy Dialogue Series at Texas State University-San Marcos continues through the week of Oct. 29-Nov. 1 with “Naturalism and Supernaturalism,” in room PSY 132.

On Oct. 29 at 12:30 p.m. philosophy professor Gil Fulmer will present “Why the Concept of a Supernatural Agent is Logically Incoherent.”

At 12:30 p.m. on Oct. 30 Sophists and Sages student presenters Steve Hoover and James Stewart will deliver “The Limits of Naturalism.”

Jason Talton, philosophy student, will present “God in a Little Room: An Examination of the Supernatural Quality of God,” on Oct. 31 at 2 p.m.

On Nov. 1 Sophists and Sages student presenters Sherre Ahlers and Casey Gailley will present “God without Supernaturalism?” at 12:30 p.m.

Co-sponsors of the Philosophy Dialogue Series are the American Democracy Project, Anthem Foundation for Objectivist Scholarship, College of Liberal Arts, Common Experience, New York Times, Phi Sigma Tau, University Seminar, Vice President of Academic Affairs, Vice President Student Affairs and the Gina Weatherhead Dialogue Fund.
