Philosophy Dialogue Series features “Truth, Half-Truth and Lies”

The fall 2007 Philosophy Dialogue Series at Texas State University-San Marcos continues through the week of Oct. 23-26 with “Truth, Half Truths and Bald-faced Lies,” in room PSY 132.
On Oct. 23 at 12:30 p.m. “Much Ado about Nonexistence: Truth and Fiction,” will be presented by sophists and sages Ben Grimm and Lora Rivera. At 3:30 p.m. philosophy lecturer Azzurra Crispino will present “The Ethics of Compromise.”
“A Balance of Justice and Care: Reading Feminist Ethics,” will be presented at 3:30 p.m. on Oct. 24 by philosophy professor Lijun Yuan.
On Oct. 25 at 12:30 p.m. sophist and sages presenters Greg Garber and Lindsey Jackson will present “Dopers, Fakers, Cheaters, Liars, and Snitches: Does Truth Matter Anymore?”
