Education honor society earns Chapter of Excellence award

The ACE award, presented by the international honor society in education Kappa Delta Pi, recognizes
Kappa Delta Pi chapter resource consultant Mindy Fairchild said to win the award, chapters must complete six program objectives: Programming, recognition, ideals, practices, professional and leadership development and fellowship.
Fairchild said the prestigious award is an excellent addition to an educator’s resume.

“I think it’s important to be a part of Kappa Delta Pi,” Fairchild said. “Education is a hard field; everyone’s looking at you because you’re teaching their children. We offer many valuable resources for teachers who are looking to build their resources, networks and lesson plans.”
More than 55,000 educators are Kappa Delta Pi members. Fairchild said the ACE award recognizes future educators who carry out the society’s vision: Recognizing and enhancing growth in scholars and leaders.
