Encore Series launches new website

The College of Fine Arts and Communication at Texas State University-San Marcos has unveiled a redesigned website for the popular Encore Series.

The Encore Series complements Texas State’s outstanding array of music, dance and theatre productions by sponsoring performances by nationally and internationally renowned acts. The website, www.encoreseries.txstate.edu, will serve as a one-stop source for information on all upcoming events.

Upcoming Encore Series performances this fall include the Stars of Texas Music Legacy Series, featuring Joe Ely and Reckless Kelly, at the Glade Outdoor Theatre, Oct. 9; the Supple Folk Music Series, featuring Quickstep and Jamcrackers, Oct. 19 in Evans Auditorium; and the Cowboy Christmas Ball, featuring Michael Martin Murphey accompanied by the Texas State University Orchestra, Nov. 30 in Strahan Coliseum.
