Police investigate unattended death at Texas State

                SAN MARCOS – Texas State University police are investigating an unattended death at Bobcat Village, a Texas State apartment complex.

Two Texas State Residence Life staff members viewed the body of an unidentified male on the balcony of an apartment at Bobcat Village Apartments at approximately 3:30 p.m. Monday, Aug. 13.

Bobcat Village is located on Aquarena Springs Drive in San Marcos, near the main entrance to the Texas State campus.

The two staff members immediately notified police, who arrived on the scene within minutes and began an investigation.

Preliminary police reports have not yet been filed. Further information will be provided as soon as it is available.
