Crime Stoppers seeks information on bomb threats

Crime Stoppers at Texas State is seeking information in connection to the recent bomb threats on campus. A general bomb threat was reported to the University Police on April 19 at approximately 11:09 p.p. A bomb threat was found written on a bathroom wall in Flowers Hall on April 24 at approximately 11:01 a.m. A bomb threat was called into the reception desk of the Student Health Center on April 26 at approximately 12:48 p.m.

A bomb threat is defined as a False Alarm or Report. A person commits an offense if they knowingly initiate, communicates or circulates a report of a present, past, or future bombing that they know is false or baseless and that would ordinarily cause action by an official or volunteer agency organized to deal with emergencies or place a person in fear of imminent serious bodily injury in which event the offense is a state jail felony.
