Heart of Texas Chorus presents “A Christmas Truce” concert

SAN MARCOS—The Heart of Texas Chorus will revisit the famous “Christmas Truce” armistice in the trenches during World War I at 7:30 p.m. Dec. 10 in Evans Auditorium on the Texas State University-San Marcos campus.
General admission tickets are $12, while student and senior tickets are $10. Special VIP tickets are available at $25.

“A Christmas Truce” is a musical celebration of the 1914 truce during World War I, when the soldiers on both sides laid down their weapons to enjoy a peaceful Christmas. One of the best choruses (currently ranked 12th) in the 30,000 member International Barbershop Harmony Society, the Heart Of Texas Chorus and guest performers will help audience members get into the spirit of Christmas by performing an assortment of favorite songs of the season.
