Tim O’Brien leads “Dialogue and Open Conversation on Courage”

SAN MARCOS—Tim O'Brien, award-winning author of If I Die in a Combat Zone, will lead a second “Dialogue and Open Conversation on Courage” in conjunction with the Common Experience program at Texas State University-San Marcos.
The forum will be held 7:30 p.m. Monday, Nov. 14 in the Alkek Library Teaching Theatre on campus. The event is free and open to the public, but seating is limited, so early arrival is encouraged.
O'Brien’s other works include Pulitzer Prize finalist The Things They Carried, the National Book Award-winning Going after Cacciato and In the Lake of the Woods, which Time Magazine named “Best Book of the Year.”
