Brock Brown featured speaker at Wimberley Lecture Series

SAN MARCOS — Brock Brown, a member of the Geography Department faculty at Texas State University-San Marcos, will deliver a free public lecture as part of the Wimberley Lecture Series, Tuesday, March 8.
The lecture will be at 7 p.m. at Chapel in the Hills in Wimberley. Brown will discuss “Xeriscaping & Wildscaping: Learning to Just Say ‘No Mow!’” exploring the myriad options available to residents looking for plants particularly suited for growing in Texas’ varied climate.
The series features Texas State faculty, held the second Tuesday of each month. Future speakers include Byron Augustin of the Geography Department faculty, on April 12.
